The Supremacy of Christ: Captive To No Ism

We must remain captive to Christ alone. Once we surrender to an ism—conservatism, progressivism, or whatever ism—it pushes us toward the absurd and cruel edges. This is not middle-of-the-road-ism but radical allegiance to Jesus Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. At any given moment our Christ-informed position might look conservative or progressive or whatever, but there is no allegiance to an ism, only allegiance to Jesus Christ.
