In The Beginning: Finding Jesus In Genesis: Joseph

Like Joseph, Jesus is the beloved Son of the Father, who, although destined for Lordship, was first scorned by his own people, then betrayed into the hands of Gentiles, and finally cast into the pit of Sheol. But, like Joseph, he was not forgotten by God; for he was raised out of the pit of death and exalted to the right hand of God, and given the name above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven, earth, and hell, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Jesus is our Brother-Savior who forgives us and says, “Fear not, I will take care of you.”
