Jesus came preaching the good news of God -- it was the proclamation of a new kind of kingdom, a kingdom where sins are forgiven and people are invited to live lives of generosity and peace. But why did some hate and resist this good news? Why did some even conspire to kill Jesus rather than embrace this good news?
