The Season Of Advent: Presence Is Salvation

During Advent is good to engage with the Hebrew prophets. These prophets were poets who spoke to Israel in the name of Yahweh. They pronounced judgment on Israel for their idolatry and injustice, but they also declared that God was faithful and would bring salvation to Israel. This salvation would come to Israel by God somehow becoming present with them, because when we are talking about the living God, presence Is salvation.
