Engaging in the mission of the church worldwide

Word of Life Church financially supports missionaries around the world, as well as actively participates in overseas projects with the following organizations:

Healing Haiti

"The world is a better place when families are strengthened."

Healing Haiti’s missions trips are Christ centered and dedicated to bringing clean water, food, housing and education to the poor and most vulnerable of Haiti. From delivering water in Cite Soleil to helping in orphanages and holding sick and dying babies, team members will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the Haitians they encounter.

Next Trip Opportunity: A team just returned from a week long trip in January 2017. The next trip will be winter 2017!

Orchard: Africa

"We develop and equip the local church to be the response to poverty and injustice. The church is our platform, programs are our tools and hope in Christ is our message."

Orchard: Africa works to empower local African churches through four major programs. Each program has been developed to ensure that it is practical, effective and sustainable through an established church and its pastor. They teach, train and fund these churches to implement the programs. Their hope is that individuals in a community do not know who they are. Instead, the community looks to the local church and the ministry they are providing.

Trips are focused on partnering with the local church in South Africa to provide agricultural education and VBS for the community's children. Teams work in both Mafikeng (North West Province) and Cape Town (Western Cape).

Next Trip Opportunity: August 3-14, 2017

Compassion International

Compassion International is a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty. The ministry releases children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. The goal is for each child to become a responsible and fulfilled adult.
