Small Groups

While The Journey is a self-initiated adventure, it is not designed to be done alone. One of the challenges we face is forming meaningful friendships with other people on The Journey. A great way to overcome this challenge is by joining and attending one of our small groups, classes, or workshops.

 

CURRENT SMALL GROUPS



PARENTING SMALL GROUP
This six-week DVD-driven small group will provide conversation and practical resources that will help parents to ask themselves the important questions facing all those raising children in today's world.  [read more]

YOUNG ADULTS SMALL GROUP
A gathering for college-aged young adults looking to connect and grow in the faith. [read more]

DIVORCE/RELATIONSHIP RECOVERY
A new beginning for those who have experienced divorce or the end of a long-term relationship. Meeting Tuesday nights at the church. A new session begins April 11. <span>[read more]

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
A monthly gathering of senior adults (55+) who meet monthly for fellowship and a meal. [read more]

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
A small-group-based support ministry for those on the journey of following Jesus while looking for encouragement to overcome the difficulties of life. Meeting Wednesday nights at the church. [read more]

WOLC MOM'S GROUP
This gathering for moms and kids meets twice a month as a place for moms to connect with other moms at Word of Life. [read more]

BIBLE STUDY FOR REAL LIFE CHANGE
Meeting for Bible study and conversation Sunday mornings in the Life Center at 9AM. [read more]

SERMON STUDY GROUP
Going deeper into the content of the Sunday morning sermon. Meeting in the back of Solomon's Porch after church on Sunday mornings. [read more]

THE JOSEPH COMPANY
A monthly small group for women and men who want to grow in Christ and improve as servant-leaders. Meeting in the Life Center on the second Saturday of the month at 9 AM. [read more]

ROOTS & SHOOTS VOLUNTEER GARDENING TEAM
A group of dedicated volunteers who serve by maintaining the church flower beds [read more]
