The Adopt-a-Block outreach is focused on getting out into the community, meeting people in their homes and neighborhoods where they live, finding out their needs and working to meet them. Adopt-a-Block works to restore a sense of pride the neighborhood. It is seen as a multi-faceted ministry and may include cleaning up yards, doing home repair, talking with elderly people, taking food to those that need it, or just playing with the neighborhood kids.
