What To Expect At Word Of Life Church
What goes on during your church services?
Our main services are Friday nights at 7 PM, and Sunday mornings at 9 and 11 AM. We open with a time of worshipping the Lord together with the Word of Life band. Pastor Brian Zahnd then preaches a great message, teaching the Bible and how to live a victorious Christian life. A clear presentation of the gospel is given, with an opportunity to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Friday nights are over around 8:45, and Sunday morning services last an hour and a half, till 10:30 and 12:30 respectively. After services, hang out in the lobby, visiting with friends, or enjoy a cappuccino in Solomon's Porch Bookstore & Coffeeshop. You'll love it here!
WOLC is so big! How will I ever make friends?
Although Word of Life Church is indeed a large church, we often gather into many small groups. We have a group for everyone; Men's Fraternity, Elevation Student Ministries, and the Joseph Company are just a few! (See GET CONNECTED for a complete list of way to be involved) Some people erroneously assume they are not needed in a larger body. That's far from the truth. The large church has many opportunities to serve because there are more positions to fill. Whatever God has gifted you to do, there will be an opportunity for your talents to be used at Word of Life Church.
What should I wear?
Word of Life Church is more concerned with meeting your real needs than the clothes that you wear. Some wear a jacket and tie, and some wear jeans and a t-shirt. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, and that'll be just fine with us.
What does Word of Life have for my children?
Millennium Youth Church (MYC)
(Grades 7-12) | Wednesdays: 7 PM
Millennium Youth Church (MYC) is a ministry of Word of Life Church dedicated to reaching students ages 13-18 that operates on a permanent basis. MYC is driven by the vision, "To awaken, equip, and mobilize teenagers to live the revolution of authentic Christianity." We see hundreds of teenagers each week find the Kingdom of God in their lives during our Wednesday night services and throughout the other involvement areas.

KidMO

Join us for this unique media and small group driven service for your children in the first through fifth grade.
Word of Life Kids! - Elementary (grades 1-5)
Sundays: 9 & 11 AM
Join us for fun and active times of worship, prayer, games and interactive lessons designed to challenge your children to boldly follow Jesus at home, school and when spending time with their friends.
Word of Life Kids - First Steps & Next Steps
Fridays: 7 PM - Sundays: 9 & 11 AM
Word of Life Church is committed to children from infancy throughout their entire childhood. Our First & Next Steps programs provide a safe and nurturing environment for our littlest members and begin to plant seeds of faith into kids from the very beginning. As children grow and develop, they're introduced to the key principles and stories of the Bible that will be cultivated and built upon with each step they take.
Your young children are welcome at Word of Life Kids and may be checked in at the Word of Life Kids check-in counter in the main lobby up to 15 minutes after the service has begun. If you take your little one into the service and they become fussy, you may take him/her to the Life Center, where you can view the service on TV with your child. A nursing mother's room is also available by the north entrance to the auditorium.
Kovenant Kids
Sundays: 11:00 AM AM
This ministry allows children with special needs to be included in the Word of Life Kids programs by providing a qualified and highly trained adult volunteer to be a one-on-one buddy with the child. Please contact the church office to register your child or stop by the Word of Life Kids check-in desk for more information.
